Madison County has a moderately sized population (over 70,000) and some tourism to its waterfront properties, among other attractions. The county also hosts a sizable student population thanks to the presence of Colgate University, Cazenovia College and SUNY Morrisville. Drivers ticketed for speeding in Madison County are strongly advised to hire an experienced traffic ticket attorney. An attorney also offers the best possible chance of beating a ticket or getting it reduced to a lesser offense. In most speeding cases, the attorney can appear in lieu of the driver, ensuring that he/she does not have to take time off from work to attend a hearing.
